Description

A rich and bright white sauce with lemon pepper made with butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and black pepper. Perfect for pasta, chicken, vegetables, seafood, or wings.

Ingredients

¼ cup butter

1 tablespoon minced garlic

¼ cup lemon juice

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon black pepper

Instructions

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and black pepper.

Simmer for a few minutes until the flavors blend.

Remove from heat and serve over pasta, chicken, wings, or vegetables.

Notes

If using unsalted butter, add a small pinch of salt.

Fresh or jarred minced garlic both work well.

Use fresh or bottled lemon juice as long as it is pure.

Black pepper can be replaced with red pepper for extra heat.

Great variations include adding shallots, vegetables, or cooked protein.

Use as a dip, glaze, or finishing drizzle for wings.

Coats pasta smoothly and adds bright flavor to seafood.
