Creamy Vanilla Mocha Overnight Oats made with rolled oats, brewed coffee, cocoa, chia seeds, maple syrup, and alcohol free vanilla flavor for a smooth energizing breakfast you can prep ahead.
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup almond milk or any milk of choice
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
1/2 teaspoon alcohol free vanilla flavor such as Alcohol Free Simply Organic or Watkins Clear Vanilla Flavor
Pinch of salt
Chocolate shavings or cocoa nibs for topping optional
Fresh berries or banana slices for serving optional
Instructions
1. Add rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, cocoa powder, maple syrup, brewed coffee, alcohol free vanilla flavor, and salt to a bowl or jar.
2. Stir until everything is well combined and the oats are fully coated.
3. Cover the container and place it in the refrigerator.
4. Let the oats sit overnight or at least 4 hours until thick and creamy.
5. Stir in the morning and add a splash of milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
6. Top with chocolate shavings, cocoa nibs, berries, or banana slices and serve.
Notes
Use rolled oats for the best texture since they soften well.
Keep toppings separate until serving so they stay crisp and fresh.
If the mixture becomes too thick, add a splash of milk before eating.
Store in jars or airtight containers for up to four days for easy grab and go breakfasts.
