Description

Creamy vanilla chia overnight oats made with rolled oats, chia seeds, oat milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, flaky sea salt, and alcohol free vanilla flavor for a smooth and satisfying make ahead breakfast.


Ingredients

3 tablespoons chia seeds

3/4 cup rolled oats

1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups oat milk or milk of choice

1 teaspoon alcohol free vanilla flavor (Alcohol Free Simply Organic or Watkins Clear Vanilla Flavor)

1 tablespoon maple syrup

a big pinch of flaky sea salt

cinnamon to taste


Instructions

1. Combine chia seeds rolled oats milk alcohol free vanilla flavor maple syrup sea salt and cinnamon in a bowl.

2. Stir until fully combined making sure there are no dry pockets.

3. Transfer mixture to a jar or container.

4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours preferably 12 or more.

5. Remove from fridge and divide into bowls.

6. Top with fruit if desired then serve.

Notes

Use 1.25 cups milk for thicker oats and 1.5 cups for a milkier consistency.

Store in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.

Add fruit just before serving for best texture.
