Creamy Vanilla Berry Overnight Oats made with smooth alcohol free vanilla flavor fresh strawberries blueberries rolled oats and chia seeds for an easy grab and go breakfast.
Ingredients
Heaping half cup chopped strawberries
Heaping half cup blueberries
One quarter teaspoon alcohol free vanilla flavor
One cup old fashioned rolled oats
One and a half cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Two tablespoons pure maple syrup
Four teaspoons chia seeds
Half teaspoon alcohol free vanilla flavor
One eighth teaspoon alcohol free almond flavor
Instructions
1. Place strawberries and blueberries in a bowl then add alcohol free vanilla flavor.
2. Mix gently until the berries are lightly coated.
3. Divide the berry mixture evenly into two or three jars.
4. In a medium bowl combine rolled oats almond milk maple syrup chia seeds alcohol free vanilla flavor and alcohol free almond flavor.
5. Stir well until the oats are fully moistened.
6. Pour or spoon the oat mixture over the berries in each jar.
7. Seal the jars with lids and refrigerate overnight or for at least six to eight hours.
8. Stir well before serving and add extra berries or maple syrup if desired.
Notes
Rolled oats work best since they hold their texture overnight.
If you prefer thicker oats add an extra teaspoon of chia seeds.
If the mixture becomes too thick the next day stir in a splash of almond milk.
Fresh berries give the best flavor but thawed frozen berries also work.
Enjoy chilled or warm gently if you like a softer texture.
