Description

Flaky, golden puff pastry topped with rich tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and customizable toppings. A quick and crispy homemade pizza that’s ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

1 Puff pastry sheet

250 g Passata

1 tsp Oregano

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tbsp Tomato puree

125 g Mozzarella

Cherry tomatoes (optional)

1 tbsp Pesto (optional)

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Mix passata, tomato puree, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

3. Lay the puff pastry sheet on the tray and spread the tomato mixture, leaving a 1 cm border around the edges.

4. Add mozzarella and your chosen toppings, drizzle with pesto if using, and scatter a few fresh basil leaves.

5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy. Let rest for 2 minutes, slice into squares, and serve.

Notes

Avoid overloading the pastry with sauce to prevent sogginess.

Ensure your oven is preheated to get the best rise and crisp.

Bake on the top rack using a heavy-duty baking sheet for optimal heat transfer.
