Description
A creamy, cheesy appetizer layered with cream cheese, tangy pizza sauce, and melted mozzarella and cheddar. Perfect for parties, game nights, or family gatherings.
Ingredients
8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
1 cup (240g) sour cream
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
14 oz (396g) pizza sauce
1 cup (83g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup (83g) cheddar cheese, shredded
Italian seasoning, for sprinkling on top
Crackers, tortilla chips, or crostini for dipping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes until smooth.
3. Spread mixture evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
4. Spread pizza sauce over the cream cheese mixture.
5. Top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
6. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Serve warm with crackers, tortilla chips, or crostini.
Notes
Pizza dip will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To make ahead, assemble as directed, cover, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
If baking from cold, add 5–7 extra minutes to the baking time.
