Ingredients
1 cup Miracle Whip
1/2 cup Daisy Sour Cream or Horizon Organic Sour Cream
1/3 to 1/2 cup milk adjusted for consistency
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper adjusted to taste
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Splash of Texas Pete Original Hot Sauce or Crystal Hot Sauce or Sriraja Panich Hot Sauce optional
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Add Miracle Whip and Daisy Sour Cream or Horizon Organic Sour Cream to a small mixing bowl
2. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth and uniform
3. Slowly add 1/3 cup milk then adjust to reach a pourable or dipping consistency
4. Stir in garlic powder dried oregano crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne and ground cumin until evenly combined
5. Add fresh lime juice and a splash of Texas Pete or Crystal or Sriraja Panich Hot Sauce to taste
6. Season with salt and taste then adjust lime or hot sauce as needed
7. Cover and chill at least one hour to let the flavors meld overnight if possible
8. Stir before serving serve with tortilla chips tacos burritos grilled chicken or roasted vegetables
Notes
Makes about 1 cup enough for four servings
Chill time intensifies the flavors make ahead by a few hours for best results
If sauce thickens in the refrigerator whisk in a teaspoon of milk at a time until desired consistency is reached
Use fresh lime juice for brighter flavor use smoked paprika for a smoky twist add chopped cilantro for a fresh herbal note
