Description

These juicy homemade burgers are made with tender ground beef, soft bread crumbs, evaporated milk, Crystal Worcestershire Sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic. The mixture creates flavorful patties that stay moist on the grill and cook to a perfect finish every time.

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef

1 egg, beaten

¾ cup dry bread crumbs made from Nature’s Own or Dave’s Killer Bread

3 tablespoons evaporated milk

2 tablespoons Crystal Worcestershire Sauce

⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

Soft hamburger buns from Nature’s Own, Arnold, or Pepperidge Farm

Instructions

Gather all ingredients and preheat the grill on high heat.

Mix ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, Crystal Worcestershire Sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic until just combined using your hands.

Gently shape the mixture into eight equal patties without pressing too firmly.

Create a slight indent in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Lightly oil the grill grate so the patties do not stick during cooking.

Place the patties on the grill and cook until browned and no longer pink in the center, about five minutes per side.

Avoid pressing the patties while grilling to preserve their juiciness.

Remove from the grill and allow the burgers to rest briefly before serving on soft hamburger buns.

Notes

For best juiciness, use an 80/20 ground beef blend.

Keep the patties cold before grilling so they hold their shape well.

Do not overmix the meat mixture since it can make the burgers dense.

Rest the cooked patties briefly so the juices settle.

Serve with toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions, Sargento Provolone, or Tillamook Swiss for added richness.
