Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough
Olive oil, for greasing and brushing
Cornmeal (optional), for sprinkling
½ cup (120 ml) pizza sauce or homemade marinara
1 cup (115 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
4–5 slices (115 g) Beef Canadian-Style Bacon
½ cup (100 g) diced pineapple, fresh or canned
¼ cup (30 g) chopped cooked Beef Canadian-Style Bacon
Oregano, dried or fresh (optional)
Instructions
1. Set oven rack to lowest position. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
2. Let pizza dough sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
3. Lightly oil a large baking sheet. Optionally sprinkle cornmeal.
4. On a floured surface, shape dough into a 10-inch round.
5. Transfer dough to baking sheet and press into a 12-inch circle, leaving edges slightly thicker.
6. Brush edges with olive oil for a crispier crust.
7. Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough.
8. Top with mozzarella cheese, sliced beef bacon, diced pineapple, and chopped cooked beef bacon.
9. Sprinkle oregano on top.
10. Bake for 10–12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
11. Slice and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
If using homemade dough, the recipe typically makes enough for 2 pizzas. You can double the topping ingredients or save the extra dough for later.
Let the pizza rest for 1–2 minutes before slicing to help the cheese set.
Use fresh or canned pineapple, but ensure it’s patted dry to prevent a soggy crust.
