Description
A cool and vibrant Fresh Mint Garlic Sauce made with creamy yogurt, fresh mint, lemon, and garlic. Perfect for seafood, chicken, wraps, kebabs, and roasted vegetables.
Ingredients
3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (Fage Greek Yogurt or Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt)
1 cup fresh mint leaves
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 garlic cloves or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Add yogurt, mint, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to a food processor and blend until smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning until the balance fits your preference.
For a thicker texture, add a spoon of extra yogurt and blend again.
If making it by hand, chop mint finely, mince the garlic, and mix everything in a bowl until creamy.
Notes
To make the sauce thicker, add more yogurt and mix until you reach your preferred consistency.
To make it thinner, add a splash of lemon juice or water and stir.
Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Let the sauce rest for a few minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend smoothly.
