Description

Freezer Smoothie Packs are the perfect make-ahead solution for quick, healthy smoothies. Prep these easy blends with fruit, greens, and other nutrient-rich ingredients, then freeze for a fast grab-and-blend breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

For Strawberry Banana:

1 cup strawberries, halved

1 banana, sliced

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon chia seeds

2 cups milk or your preferred liquid (added when blending)

For Chocolate Peanut Butter:

2 bananas, sliced

½ cup quick oats

2 tablespoons peanut butter

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

2 cups milk or your preferred liquid (added when blending)

For Tropical Mango:

1 cup mango chunks

1 banana, sliced

1 cup baby spinach

2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut

2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds

2 cups coconut water (added when blending)

For Berry Cherry:

1 cup blueberries

1 cup cherries, pitted

1 cup Greek yogurt (Chobani Nonfat Plain, FAGE Total 0%, or Oikos Triple Zero)

2 tablespoons honey

1 cup coconut water (added when blending)

Instructions

1. Prepare four freezer-safe quart-sized zip-top bags.

2. Divide the ingredients evenly into each bag, leaving out the liquids for later.

3. Remove excess air and seal tightly.

4. Lay the bags flat in the freezer until solid.

5. When ready to enjoy, remove a bag from the freezer and run it briefly under warm water to loosen the contents.

6. Pour into a high-speed blender and add the suggested liquid or your choice of milk or water.

7. Blend for about 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.

8. Add more liquid if needed for desired consistency.

Notes

*Nutrition information reflects the Strawberry Banana Smoothie using almond milk.*

Tip: Freeze the smoothie packs flat for easy storage. Once solid, store them upright to save space.

Use ripe fruits for maximum flavor and freshness. These smoothie packs stay good for up to 3 months in the freezer.
