Description
A rich, creamy Fairlife Chocolate Protein Mousse made with dark chocolate, cocoa, clean whole milk yogurt options, chocolate whey protein powder, honey, and alcohol free vanilla flavor. Smooth, velvety, and perfect as a high protein chocolate dessert.
Ingredients
4 ounces dark chocolate at 70 percent, chopped
1 and 1 half cups plain whole milk yogurt such as Fage Total, Chobani Whole Milk, or Oikos Whole Milk
1 quarter cup cocoa powder
2 tablespoons chocolate whey protein powder
2 tablespoons honey
1 to 2 tablespoons milk
1 half teaspoon alcohol free vanilla flavor such as Simply Organic Alcohol Free Vanilla Flavor or Watkins Clear Vanilla Flavor
Pinch of kosher salt
Fresh berries for serving
Shaved chocolate for topping
Instructions

2. Fill a small pot halfway with water and place a heat safe bowl on top, then bring the water to a gentle boil.
3. Add the chopped chocolate to the bowl and stir until fully melted, then set aside to cool slightly.
4. Add the yogurt, cocoa powder, protein powder, cooled chocolate, honey, milk, vanilla flavor, and salt to a stand mixer with a whisk attachment.
5. Whip on medium speed, increasing to high, until the mousse becomes thick, smooth, and fully blended.
6. Transfer the mixture to a container and refrigerate for at least four hours or ideally overnight.
7. Serve the mousse topped with berries and shaved chocolate.

Chilling the mousse overnight provides the best texture and firmness.
Adjust thickness by adding small amounts of milk while whipping.
Use finely chopped chocolate to ensure smooth melting.
Yogurt brand affects thickness, with Fage being thickest and Chobani or Oikos slightly softer.
Store in an airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator.
