Description

A rich and smooth Classic Creamy Alfredo Sauce made with butter, garlic, heavy cream, alcohol free cream cheese, and Parmesan created with vegetarian rennet. This sauce comes together quickly and delivers a silky texture perfect for pasta or vegetables.

Ingredients

½ cup butter

3 cloves garlic minced

8 oz Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese or Organic Valley Cream Cheese

1 ½ cups heavy cream

8 oz Cabot Shredded Parmesan or Tillamook Shredded Parmesan

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

1.

2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. When melted stir in the minced garlic until fragrant.

3. Add the cream cheese and whisk as it softens. It may look slightly clumpy which is normal.

4. Pour in the heavy cream gradually while whisking until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

5. Add the shredded Parmesan and stir until fully melted and incorporated.

6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm over pasta or your preferred dish.

7.

Notes

The sauce reheats best on the stovetop over medium low heat while stirring. Add a splash of milk if you want a thinner texture.

Keep leftovers sealed in the refrigerator for up to three days.
