Description

An easy and quick cheesy pizza pockets recipe that’s golden, melty, and perfect for family meals or snacks.

Ingredients

1/2 cup marinara sauce

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 can of pizza dough or crescent rolls, refrigerated

1/2 cup Beef pepperoni or any toppings you like (mushrooms, diced peppers, Beef sausage)

1/4 tsp Italian herbs

A light sprinkle of powdered garlic

Melted butter or olive oil, to brush on top

Grated Parmesan for finishing

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface. If using crescent rolls, divide into triangles. For pizza dough, slice into 8 rectangles.

3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each piece. Add mozzarella and toppings of choice.

4. Sprinkle with Italian herbs and garlic powder. Fold and seal edges using a fork.

5. Brush tops with melted butter or olive oil, sprinkle with Parmesan, and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.

6. Let cool slightly and serve warm. Optional: Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

You can freeze these pockets before or after baking.

Try different fillings like mushrooms, spinach, or three-cheese blends.

Use homemade dough if desired, but adjust the baking time slightly.
