Description
An elegant yet simple crostini recipe topped with crispy Beef Bresaola, creamy burrata, fresh peaches, and finished with hot honey. Perfect for summer gatherings or a savory-sweet appetizer any time of year.
Ingredients
1 loaf of sourdough or French baguette, sliced
⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
⅓ cup grated Pecorino cheese
1 clove garlic, grated
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
2 tablespoons melted butter
4 ounces Beef Bresaola
8 ounces burrata cheese, at room temperature
2 peaches, sliced
Hot honey (for drizzling)
Fresh basil leaves
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. On a baking sheet, combine Parmesan, Pecorino, garlic, thyme, melted butter, and a pinch of black pepper. Spread evenly.
3. Place sliced bread on top of cheese mixture and brush tops with extra melted butter.
4. Arrange Beef Bresaola slices on top or around the bread.
5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until bread is golden and Bresaola is slightly crisp.
6. Transfer crostini to a platter. Tear burrata and layer it over the warm bread.
7. Top with peach slices, extra Bresaola, and fresh basil.
8. Drizzle hot honey over crostini just before serving.
Notes
For best results, let burrata come to room temperature before assembling.
Use firm, ripe peaches for the best texture and flavor.
Can be served warm or at room temperature.
To make ahead, bake the bread base and store, then assemble fresh before serving.
