Description
This Buffalo Chicken Pizza recipe is a spicy, cheesy, and incredibly flavorful twist on classic pizza. Perfect for family dinners or game night.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups shredded chicken
1/3 cup buffalo sauce (plus more to drizzle on top)
¼ cup blue cheese or ranch dressing, divided
1 lb. pizza dough, at room temperature
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup thinly sliced red onions
¼ cup banana pepper rings, patted dry
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 teaspoon grated Cabot Parmesan cheese (or Tillamook brand)
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Chopped chives or green onions, for garnish
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Place a pizza stone inside the oven if using.
2. Mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce and 1 tablespoon of dressing. Let it marinate.
3. Spread dough onto a lightly greased 12-inch pizza pan. Poke holes in the dough with a fork.
4. Spread pizza sauce evenly, then half the mozzarella.
5. Add the buffalo chicken mixture, onions, and banana peppers.
6. Top with the remaining mozzarella, drizzle with dressing and additional buffalo sauce.
7. Bake for 13 minutes.
8. Brush crust with melted butter mixed with Cabot Parmesan cheese (or Tillamook Parmesan cheese) and garlic powder.
9. Return to oven for 2–3 minutes until crust is golden.
10. Remove and garnish with chives, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Slice and serve.
Notes
Let the dough rest at room temperature for easier handling.
Use low-moisture mozzarella for better melting.
You can substitute blue cheese with ranch if preferred.
For a crisper crust, use a pizza stone.
Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
