Description
A quick and delicious breakfast featuring beef sausage, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and flaky crescent dough baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter
4 large eggs, whisked
1 (8 ounce) package crescent dough
4 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
8 cooked breakfast beef sausage links
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
2. In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the whisked eggs and cook until softly scrambled. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
3. Unroll crescent dough and place triangles on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Place half a slice of cheddar cheese on the wide part of each triangle.
5. Divide scrambled eggs evenly among the dough pieces, placing them on top of the cheese.
6. Place one beef sausage link on top of the eggs.
7. Gently roll up each crescent from the wide end to the tip. Place seam side down.
8. Bake for 15 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
9. Let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
Best served warm. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for 2 months. Reheat in oven or microwave.
